How I became a mom...

   I have been a mom for thirteen years, the first time I became a mom I was seventeen years old. I was a senior in high school. During the beginning of my senior year I quit school. I was on bed rest because my little baby was ready to make her appearance. We spent many days and nights in the hospital getting steroid shots to help her grow and brethine shots to stop contractions. We were able to keep her in until 34 weeks. When she was born she was so chunky from all the steroids. She was perfectly healthy.

   Over the last thirteen years that teen mom that was so scared and unsure of what lay ahead, well she still fails daily at being a mom. She lets her kids have cokes and candy on occasion. Sometimes she has to yell to get her point across. Sometimes a little too much. But, she's doing this mom life the best she can.
 

   I went from being a teen mom, to a mom of three girls, to being a bonus mom to two little boys. Life with these five has forever changed my life.
